Outdoor Ed Venture is committed to sustainable development and believes that individuals can be introduced to these concepts and their role within them through a combination of field study and adventure activities.
Environmental Education
Outdoor Ed Venture specialises in all aspects of outdoor environmental education across the subjects and key stages of the national curriculum and GCSE and A Level course work.
We combine the skills of qualified and experienced environmental teaching staff with the skills and qualifications of our activity instructors. This means that we can guarantee the best possible outdoor classroom experience in unique and adventurous environments.
Possible field study experiences include:
- River studies including water quality analysis
- Beach studies – rocky shore
- Woodland studies – coniferous and broad leafed
The package includes all course materials and the use of environmental measuring and monitoring equipment
Physical Education
Wondering about how you are going to cope with delivering the residential and adventurous activities aspects of the GCSE and A Level Physical Education or the BTEC Public Services course – Outdoor Ed Venture can arrange this for you. We have developed packages specifically to meet the requirements of both the GCSE and A Level syllabus and the BTEC First and National specifications.
The courses will be lead by teacher qualified tutors and activity leaders who have had experience of delivering in school and college environments.
Accommodation can be arranged to suit the size, composition and budget constraints of your group.
